Der Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) verzeichnet die Armut in 104 Entwicklungsländern und misst diese an den drei Dimensionen Bildung, Gesundheit und Lebensstandard. Der MPI wurde im Jahr 2010 an der Universität von Oxford für das Entwicklungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen (UNDP) entwickelt.[1]
