Chen Yang

Chen Yang (Chinesisch: 杨晨, Yáng Chén) (* 17. Januar 1974 in Peking) ist ein Fußballspieler aus der Volksrepublik China.

Chen Yang ist Stürmer, Mittelstürmer auf der rechten Seite. Bekannt ist er aus der Zeit bei Eintracht Frankfurt, wo er insgesamt 21 Tore erzielte.

Der Chinese begann seine Karriere bei Beijing Guoan. Dort spielte er in der Jugend und im Profialter bis zu seinen Wechsel zur Eintracht Frankfurt. 1999 kaufte ihn Eintracht Frankfurt für eine Ablöse von 1 Million , zuvor war er ausgeliehen. 2002/2003 wechselte Chen Yang ablösefrei von Eintracht Frankfurt zum FC St. Pauli. 2003/2004 wechselte Chen Yang zurück in seine Heimat China zu Shenzhen Jianlibao FC. 2005/2006 wechselte er zu Xiamen Blue Lion.

Mit der chinesischen Nationalmannschaft nahm er an der Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft 2002 in Südkorea und Japan teil.
