Das Swedish National Space Board (SNSB) (schwedisch Rymdstyrelsen ist eine Regierungsbehörde des Schwedischen Ministeriums für Bildung und Forschung. Finanziert wird es allerdings zu etwa 70 Prozent vom Ministerium für Unternehmen, Energie und Kommunikation. Jährlich stehen dem SNSB etwa 850.000 Schwedische Kronen (etwa 94.000 Euro) zur Verfügung. Zu den Hauptaufgaben gehört das Verteilen von Geldern der Regierung, die für Forschung im Weltall eingesetzt werden sollen. Ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt ist die Zusammenarbeit bei internationalen Projekten mit der ESA, dafür werden etwa 65 Prozent der Gelder eingesetzt.[1] Das SNSB hat im Jahr 2011 17 Mitarbeiter und sein Büro in der Stadt Solna in der Nähe von Stockholm. Auch mit der NASA besteht eine Zusammenarbeit.[2] Geleitet wird das SNSB seit dem Jahr 2009 von Olle Norberg.[3]

Bei sechs Satellitenprojekten war das SNSB bislang (Stand 2011) beteiligt.
