Viscount Soulbury, of Soulbury in the County of Buckingham, ist ein erblicher britischer Adelstitel in der Peerage of the United Kingdom, der von der Familie Ramsbotham geführt wird.

Verleihung

Der Titel wurde im Jahre 1954 für den konservativen Politiker Herwald Ramsbotham, 1. Baron Soulbury, geschaffen. Dieser war zuletzt Generalgouverneur von Ceylon gewesen, nachdem er zuvor verschiedene Ministerämter in der britischen Regierung innegehabt hatte.

Nachgeordneter Titel

Der erste Viscount war bereits 1941 zum Baron Soulbury of Soulbury in the County of Buckingham, erhoben worden, als er aus dem House of Commons ausschied. Dieser Titel, der ebenfalls zur Peerage of the United Kingdom gehört, wird heute als nachgeordneter Titel geführt.
