Virtual Steel

Virtual Steel ist spezielles CAD-System, um Konstruktionen aus Stahl zu modellieren. Die Konstruktion wird mit üblichen Walzprofilen dreidimensional erfasst. Dabei bewegt man sich durch das virtuelle Gebäude wie in der Realität.

Anschlüsse werden mittels einer Anschlussbibliothek zwischen den Profilen erzeugt. Änderungen im Detail erfolgen in der zweidimensionalen Werkstattzeichnung und werden nach den Änderungen im 3D-System angezeigt. Mittels Transparenzen und Freischneiden können Details im 3D optisch begutachtet werden, auch wenn es sich um ein großes Projekt handelt.

Übersichten des kompletten Modells oder Teile des Modells können jederzeit an das gewohnte CAD-System als 2D-Zeichnung übergeben werden, wo diese für die Weiterverarbeitung zur Verfügung stehen.

Eine Stückliste mit Gleichteilerkennung und manuellen Positionierungsmöglichkeiten ist mit enthalten.
