Abu Musa al-Asha'ari

Abu Musa Abdullah ibn Qais al-Aschʿari (arabischأبو موسى الأشعري‎, DMG Abū Mūsā al-Ašʿarī; auch al-Asha'ari und ähnlich; † 662 oder 672), war ein Sahaba (Prophetengefährte) des Muhammad und eine wichtige Persönlichkeit in der frühen Geschichte des Islam. Er wurde Gouverneur von Basra und Kufa und war an der frühen Eroberung von Persien mitgewirkt. Er hatte auch mit den Problemen zu tun, welche zur Zeit des Kalifats von Ali auftraten.
