Um im Bereich der Elektrotechnik, besonders in der Hochfrequenztechnik, elektrische Bauelemente oder Schaltungen in 50 Ohm-Technik einschleifen zu können, verwendet man eine sogenannte Circuit Box (engl. "Schaltkreiskästchen"). Sie besteht in der Regel aus einem sich öffnendem Aluminiumkästchen mit BNC-Anschlüssen.
