Composer in Residence

Unter Artist in Residence sind Programme zu verstehen, die es Künstlern aus unterschiedlichen Fachrichtungen (Schauspieler, Bildende Künstler, Musiker, Schriftsteller) erlauben, ihre kreativen Tätigkeiten ohne den direkten Einsatz eigener finanzieller Mittel auch außerhalb ihres unmittelbaren Kulturkreises auszuüben. Sie versetzen Künstler über Stipendien oder Einladungen von Institutionen wie Galerien, Museen, Theatern oder Künstlerhäusern in die Lage, einen lebendigen Austausch mit Künstlern unterschiedlicher kultureller und regionaler Hintergründe oder Herkunft zu pflegen.
