Consumer-to-Consumer (abgekürzt C2C) steht für (elektronische) Geschäftsbeziehungen zwischen Privatpersonen, als klar abgegrenzte Kategorie zu jenen Beziehungen zu Unternehmen (B2C, C2B) oder Behörden (A2C).

Vor allem bei Produkttest- und Handelsplattformen, wie zum Beispiel Ciao.de oder eBay, aber auch in Internetforen und Blogs spielen C2C-Beziehungen eine zunehmend größer werdende Rolle. Durch den unabhängigen Meinungs- und Erfahrungsaustausch der Verbraucher zu jeder Art von Produkten und Dienstleistungen können sich potenzielle Konsumenten ein besseres Bild für ihre Kaufentscheidung machen.

Ferner kann man beobachten, dass auch Unternehmen zunehmend die Wichtigkeit des so genannten viralen Marketings erkennen, um sich ein Bild der Konsumentenmeinungen zu machen und diese als Verbesserungsansatz zu nutzen.
