Die Ostasiatischen Wassermolche (Cynops) sind eine Gattung der Schwanzlurche, die in China und Japan vorkommt. Die etwa 9 bis 16 Zentimeter langen Tiere leben vorwiegend aquatil in Tümpeln, Gräben und Reisfeldern, gehen gelegentlich aber auch an Land.
