Hubli-Dharwad bzw. Hubballi-Dharwad ist eine Stadt im indischen Bundesstaat Karnataka am Westrand des Dekkan mit 846.223 Einwohnern. Sie beherbergt Textil- und Papierindustrie sowie eine Universität. Die Städte Hubli (Hubballi) und Dharwad wurden 1961 vereinigt. Hubli-Dharwad ist Hauptstadt des Distriktes Dharwad. Dharwad ist berühmt für sein Dharwad peda, ein milchbasiertes Zuckerbrot.

Anlässlich des fünfzigsten Jahrestags der Gründung des Bundesstaats im Jahr 2006 beschloss die Regierung von Karnataka nach einem Vorschlag des Schriftstellers U. R. Ananthamurthy, den englischen Namen Hubli in ihre Kannada-Namensform Hubbali umzubenennen. Da die indische Zentralregierung der Namensänderung bisher nicht zugestimmt hat, ist der Umbenennungsprozess aber noch nicht abgeschlossen.[2]
