Dimension Data ist ein globaler IT-Service-Dienstleister und einer der größten Cisco-Gold-Partner weltweit mit Hauptsitz in Südafrika.

Geschichte

Dimension Data wurde 1983 in Südafrika gegründet und ist in 49 Ländern der Erde, verteilt auf alle fünf Kontinente, mit eigenen Niederlassungen vertreten. Dimension Data ist spezialisiert auf die Bereiche Netzwerk und Rechenzentrum, IT-Sicherheit, Sprach- und Videokommunikation sowie Applikations-Integration. Im Jahr 2010 beschäftigte Dimension Data weltweit 12.000 Mitarbeiter und erwirtschaftete 4,7 Milliarden US Dollar Umsatz.[1] Im Oktober 2010 wurde Dimension Data zu 100 % von NTT, einem der weltweit größten Telekommunikationsanbieter, erworben.

Niederlassung BRD

Die deutsche Niederlassung – Dimension Data Germany AG & Co. KG – hat ihre Zentrale in Oberursel bei Frankfurt sowie Niederlassungen in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart und München. Dimension Data Germany beschäftigte im Jahre 2010 über 400 Mitarbeiter und erwirtschaftete einen Umsatz von mehr als 150 Millionen Euro.[2]
