Direct Fly ist eine polnische Fluggesellschaft, die am 12. April 2006 den Betrieb aufgenommen hat. Das Unternehmen war eine Tochtergesellschaft von Sky Express.

Direct Fly hat sich am Anfang auf folgende europäische Flughäfen konzentriert:

Am 24. Mai 2006 wurde entschieden, die internationalen Routen aufzugeben und statt dessen sich mehr auf die inländischen Routen zu konzentrieren.

Am 7. Mai 2007 wurde der Flugbetrieb eingestellt. Das Management äußerte, mit einem Börsengang fehlendes Kapital beschaffen zu wollen. Die Auslastung lag zuletzt bei 20 bis 40%. Jedoch wurden diese Pläne nie realisiert.

Im Februar 2008 wurde das Unternehmen an die Börsennotierte AerFinance plc verkauft. Im August 2008 erhielt das Unternehmen eine neue Betriebserlaubnis und kaufte zwei Diamond DA-42 um Air Taxi Flüge durchzuführen. Zum Ausbau der Flotte beschaffte das Unternehmen kürzlich 4 Citation II, 1 King Air 90, sowie eine weitere Diamond DA-42.

Flotte

Betrieben wurden zwei Flugzeuge des Typs Saab 340 (34 Passagiere), die der Muttergesellschaft Sky Express gehören. Registrierungen: SP-KPE und SP-KPV.

Die Flotte besteht heute aus: 3 Diamond DA-42, 4 Citation II sowie einer King Air 90.[1]
