Donoghue

Donoghue bzw. O’Donoghue ist ein schottischer und irischer Familienname, abgeleitet von Ó Donnchadha mit der Bedeutung „Nachfahre von Donnchadh“.[1] Donnchadh heißt auf Deutsch „braun(haarig)er Krieger“ und ist die gälische Form von Duncan.[2]
