European ICT-Prize

Der Europäische ICT Preis ist ein Technologie-Preis, (dotiert 2007 mit 700.000 Euro), der alljährlich von der Europäischen Kommission ausgelobt wird. "Der seit 1995 jährlich vergebene European ICT-Prize (European Information- and Communication-Prize) ist der höchst dotierte Preis für Produkte und Dienste in der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie." (Quelle: Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung).
Euro-CASE (European Council of Applied Sciences, Technologies and Engineering) vergibt die Auszeichnung im Auftrag der Europäischen Kommission.

Die Auslobung des Preises für 2008 fand nicht statt.
