Der Matsapha International Airport befindet sich im Industriegebiet Matsapha, in der Nähe der Stadt Manzini, der größten Stadt des Königreiches Swasiland. Er ist der einzige internationale Flughafen des Landes. Von der Hauptstadt Mbabane ist er etwa 25 Kilometer entfernt.

Geschichte

Die Landebahn und die Flughafengebäude wurden in den 1960er-Jahren erbaut, in den späten 1970er-Jahren wurden diese ausgebaut.

Flugziele

Linienflüge werden von der Fluggesellschaft Swaziland Airlink nach Johannesburg täglich viermal[1] durchgeführt. Weiterhin bedienen South African Airways im Code Share mit SA Airlink und SA Express den Matsapha International Airport ebenfalls mehrmals täglich mit dem O R Tambo International Airport Johannesburg.
