Fenton Hort

Fenton John Anthony Hort (* 23. April 1828 in Dublin; † 30. November 1892 in Cambridge) war ein irischer Theologe. Er war bedeutender Vertreter der neutestamentalen Textkritik im 19. Jahrhundert und Professor der anglikanischen Theologie an der Cambridge University (von 1878 bis 1887 Hulsean Professor).

Brooke Foss Westcott und Hort gaben 1881 The New Testament in the Original Greek heraus (siehe auch: Textus receptus).
