Ferranti Semiconductors war einer der frühen Hersteller von ICs, beheimatet im englischen Oldham. Die Firma wurde 1987 von Plessey übernommen, welche wiederum von GEC aufgekauft wurden, wobei Teile der ursprünglichen Ferranti, die als Markenname weitergeführt wurde, an Zetex Semiconductors gingen.
Wohl bekanntestes Produkt ist der Logik-Chip SCL des ZX81, eine Anwendung des ULA.
