Forsyth Major

Charles Immanuel Forsyth Major (* 1843; † 1923) war ein Schweizer Zoologe sowie Paläontologe, der sich speziell mit Wirbeltieren beschäftigte. Während seinen Expeditionen reiste er zwischen 1894-1896 nach Madagaskar und später nach Italien. Er erstellte die erste systematische Sammlung der Säugetiere von Madagaskar.
