Freddie & The Dreamers waren eine britische Beat-Band der 60er Jahre.

Im Oktober 1961 wurde die Gruppe bekannt, als sie in einer BBC-Fernsehshow auftraten. Das brachte den ersten Schallplattenvertrag und Anfang 1963 gelang die erste Hitnotierung. Bis 1966 waren sie regelmäßig in englischen und amerikanischen Hitparaden vertreten, wobei sie in den USA fast die gleiche Popularität wie die Beatles erreichten. Besonders beliebt war ihr selbst entworfener Tanz "Do the Freddie". Neben ihrer Musik waren sie in den USA auch als Mitwirkende in den Filmen Seaside Swingers und Cuckoo Patrol zu sehen.

Gegen Ender der 60er verblasste dann ihr Ruhm und die Gruppe zerfiel.
