Gayo Lues, ein Distrikt (kabupaten) im Inneren der Provinz Aceh im Norden der indonesischen Insel Sumatra, er umfasst 5710 Quadratkilometer. Die Bevölkerungsdichte ist mit 60.800 Einwohnern (2000) sehr gering.

Der überwiegende Teil der Bewohner lebt von der Landwirtschaft. Wichtige Produkte sind Chili, Tabak (Virginia), Kaffee und Zitronengras. Hauptort ist das Städtchen Blang Kejeren, wo Touren in den nördlichen Teil des Gunung-Leuser-Nationalparks angeboten werden.

Gayo Lues ist in elf Bezirke (kecamatan) gegliedert:
