Alexandre Volchkov

Alexander Alexandrowitsch Woltschkow (russisch Александр Александрович Волчков; * 25. September 1977 in Moskau) ist ein ehemaliger russischer Eishockeyspieler.

Karriere

Beim NHL Entry Draft 1996 wurde er in der ersten Runde an vierter Stelle durch die Washington Capitals ausgewählt. Woltschkow war ein talentierter Rechtsschütze während er für die Barrie Colts in der Ontario Hockey League spielte. Jedoch konnte er sich in der National Hockey League nicht durchsetzen. So absolvierte er in der Saison 1999/2000 lediglich drei Spiele für die Capitals. 2000 ging er wieder nach Russland und 2002/03 verbrachte er seine letzte Saison bei Krylja Sowetow Moskau.
