Golden parachute

Der Goldene Fallschirm (engl. golden parachute) ist eine Klausel in Verträgen von Führungskräften, derzufolge im Falle einer Übernahme des Unternehmens und des daraus folgenden Wegfalls der Stelle beziehungsweise im Falle einer vorzeitigen Vertragsauflösung die Person beträchtliche Zahlungen erhält, beispielsweise in Form von Boni, Aktienoptionen oder Kombinationen verschiedener Vergütungen.
