Gouldman

Graham Gouldman (* 10. Mai 1946) ist ein britischer Komponist und Musiker.

Gouldman war um 1967 Bassist bei Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders, anschließend arbeite er 1971 mit Ramases, wo er mit Godley & Creme auf seine späteren Bandkollegen der Hotlegs (1972) und 10cc (ab 1973) traf. Insbesondere mit 10cc hatte Gouldman zahlreiche Hits in den 70er-Jahren. Zu den bekanntesten Songs, die er als Komponist für andere Musiker geschrieben hat, zählen For Your Love für die Yardbirds, Bus Stop für die Hollies und No Milk Today für Herman’s Hermits. In den 80er-Jahren war Gouldman Mitglied des Pop-Duos Wax. Außerdem arbeitete Gouldman als Produzent für andere Künstler; unter anderem produzierte er das 1981 erschienene Album Pleasant Dreams der US-Punk-Band Ramones.
