Tilo Wolff

Tilo Wolff (* 10. Juli 1972 in Frankfurt am Main) ist ein deutscher Musiker, der zur Zeit in der Schweiz lebt.

Er gründete 1990 die Band Lacrimosa, die anfangs im Dark-Wave- und Gothic-Umfeld und später im Metal-Bereich beheimatet war. Im selben Jahr rief er das Plattenlabel „Hall Of Sermon“ ins Leben, um seine Band Lacrimosa finanzieren zu können, ohne von damals renommierten Plattenfirmen abhängig zu sein. So konnte er seiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen, die sonst durch vertragliche Bestimmungen deutlich eingeschränkt worden wäre. Zudem konnte er damit auch anderen Bands aus der Schwarzen Szene eine Plattform bieten.

Darüber hinaus betreibt Tilo Wolff seit dem Jahre 2004 ein Industrial-Nebenprojekt namens Snakeskin, das sich musikalisch deutlich von Lacrimosa abhebt.

Seit 2007 ist Wolff neben Eric Burton Manager der Band Cinema Bizarre.
