Die Internationale Tanzorganisation (International Dance Organization/IDO) ist ein internationaler Tanzsportverband. In der IDO sind die Landestanzverbände von über 90 Staaten aus fünf Kontinenten Mitglied. Den angeschlossenen Verbänden gehören nach Angaben der IDO ca. 250.000 Tanzsportler an. Die IDO richtet jedes Jahr Weltmeisterschaften in ca. zehn verschiedenen Klassen aus.
Die IDO ist mit der International Dance Sport Federation (IDSF) assoziiert, die die Interessen des Tanzsports im Weltsportverband General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) vertritt und vom Internationalen Olympischen Komitees (IOC) anerkannt ist.
Die IDO wurde am 18. September 1981 in Florenz durch Italien, Frankreich, die Schweiz und Gibraltar gegründet. Sitz des Verbandes ist die Stadt Slagelse in Dänemark. Präsident ist William E. Fowler, Jr. (USA).
