Der Internationale Verband Forstlicher Forschungsanstalten, kurz IUFRO (von engl. International Union of Forest Research Organizations) ist ein globale Netzwerk für Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Forstwissenschaften. Der Verband vereinigt mehr als 15.000 Wissenschaftler in über 700 Mitgliederorganisationen in mehr als 110 Ländern. Gegründet worden war der Internationale Verband forstlicher Versuchsanstalten auf Initiative der Preußischen Forstlichen Versuchsanstalt 1892 in Eberswalde. Die IUFRO ist Mitglied im internationalen Dachverband wissenschaftlicher Gesellschaften und Akademien ICSU. Die Zusammenarbeit der Wissenschaftler in IUFRO beruht auf einer rein freiwilligen Basis.
Aufgabe der IUFRO ist die Förderung der Koordination und der internationalen Kooperation von wissenschaftlichen Studien im gesamten Themenbereich Wald, Bäume und nachhaltige Nutzung von Wäldern.
