Kadoorie

Michael David Kadoorie (* 1941 in Hong Kong) ist ein chinesischer Unternehmen und Philanthrop. Er gehört nach Angaben des Magazins Forbes zu den reichsten fünf Personen aus China, zu denen des Weiteren Li Ka Shing, Lee Shau Kee und die drei Brüder der Kwok Familie gehören. [1]

Sein Vater war der Unternehmer Lawrence Kadoorie, Baron Kadoorie (1899-1993) und seine Mutter war Muriel Gubbay. Kadoorie besuchte das Institut Le Rosey in der Schweiz. Kadorie ist verheiratet und hat drei Kinder.

Kadoorie leitet den chinesischen Konzern CLP Group. Des Weiteren kontrolliert er das Unternehmen The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels.
