Karyorrhexis

Als Karyorrhexis wird die destruktive Kernfragmentierung[1] bezeichnet, die sich in absterbenden Zellen ereignen kann. Gewöhnlicherweise geht der Karyorrhexis die Karyopyknose voraus. Der Vorgang findet sowohl bei der Apoptose (programmierter Zelltod) als auch im Rahmen nekrotischer Prozesse statt.
