Keep the Faith ist das fünfte Studio-Album der Band Bon Jovi.

Nach dem Album New Jersey 1988 gingen die Bandmitglieder zunächst ihren Solokarrieren nach: Jon Bon Jovi schrieb Blaze of Glory, den Soundtrack zu Young Guns II, welches ihm einen Golden Globe einbrachte[1], sowie einen Nummer-Eins-Hit in den USA[2]; Richie Sambora veröffentlichte sein Soloalbum Stranger in This Town, welches #36[3] in den Billboard 200 erreichte; und auch David Bryan brachte sein erstes Soloalbum, Netherworld, heraus. Dadurch wurden Gerüchte einer Auflösung der Band Bon Jovi laut. Mit Keep the Faith meldete sich die Band jedoch zurück: Auf der Platte sind viele Titel, die zu Hits wurden, wie beispielsweise Keep the Faith, Bed of Roses oder I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, zu finden.

Auf dem Album ist der längste Song der Band zu finden: Dry County, mit knapp 10 Minuten Laufzeit, und einem epischen Gitarren-Solo welches selbst auch länger als 2 Minuten dauert.

Die Single Keep The Faith erreicht #1 der Mainstream-Rock-Charts in den USA[4].

Es gibt auch eine spanische Version von Bed of Roses (Cama de Rosas), die nicht veröffentlicht wurde, aber als Video auf der Bandseite bereit steht.

Das Album hätte ursprünglich Believe heißen sollen, was aber wegen der gleichnamigen Kampagne von Nike nicht möglich war.

Auf dem Cover sind die Hände der Bandmitglieder zu sehen, die einen Kreis bilden, wie er bei einigen Mannschaftssportarten Verwendung findet.

Neben der Standard-Version ist auch eine limitierte Sonderedition mit einer zusätzlichen Live-CD erschienen.
