Las Cruces ist eine Stadt im Doña Ana County mit rund 85.000 Einwohnern. Sie liegt unweit der mexikanischen Grenze im Süden New Mexicos und ist zweitgrößte Stadt des US-Bundesstaates.

Die Stadt besitzt mit dem Las Cruces International Airport einen internationalen Flughafen mit drei Start- und Landebahnen. Er liegt an der Interstate 10, etwa 13 Kilometer westlich der Innenstadt[1]. In der Nähe der Stadt beginnt die Interstate 25.

Las Cruces hat mit Nienburg/Weser in Niedersachsen eine Städtepartnerschaft vereinbart.
