Das Labrum glenoidale, auch Limbus, Knorpellippe oder Pfannenlippe ist eine 3–4 mm breite, wulstige Umrahmung der Knorpelpfanne (Cavitas glenoidalis) des Schulterblatts.

Das Labrum glenoidale besteht aus Faserknorpel, der im posteroinferioren Abschnitt fest, im superoanterioren Abschnitt beweglich mit der Gelenkpfanne verbunden ist. Im kranialen Anteil der Gelenkpfanne bildet das Labrum zusammen mit der Bizepssehne den Labrum-Bizepssehnen-Komplex (LBS-Komplex).

Bei einer Schultergelenksluxation kommt es häufig zu einem Abriss des Labrum glenoidale.

Funktion

Das Labrum glenoidale dient der Stabilisierung des Schultergelenks. Es sorgt für eine bessere Positionierung des Humeruskopfes in der Gelenkpfanne der Schulter.
