Léon Daudet (* 16. November 1867 in Paris; † 30. Juni 1942 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence) war ein französischer Schriftsteller und politischer Publizist.

Leben

Während der „Dreyfus-Affäre“ war Daudet ein aktiver „Anti-Dreyfusard“, also ein Nationalist und Antisemit, und Anhänger von politischen Agitatoren wie Édouard Drumont. Mit Charles Maurras war er Gründungsmitglied der Action française, einer monarchistisch-chauvinistischen politischen Bewegung. Sein Vater Alphonse Daudet war ein berühmter französischer Schriftsteller.
