Die lit.Cologne (eigene Schreibweise: lit.COLOGNE) ist ein internationales Literaturfest, das seit März 2001 jährlich im Frühjahr in Köln stattfindet. Es gilt inzwischen als eines der größten Literaturfestivals in Europa und bietet in einem Zeitraum von 11 Tagen weit über 150 Veranstaltungen an, davon über 60 für Kinder. Viele der Mitwirkenden sind national oder international bekannte Künstler und Autoren. Die jährliche Verleihung des Deutscher Hörbuchpreises findet ebenfalls im Rahmen des Festivals statt.

Im Jahr 2011 fanden 162 Veranstaltungen in 40 Spielstätten mit mehr als 200 mitwirkenden Autoren und Künstlern statt.

Die hohe Besucherauslastung der Veranstaltungen (2011 mehr als 85.000 Besucher bei einer Auslastung von 96%) wird von den Veranstaltern als Indiz gewertet, dass nicht nur Musik und Film, sondern auch Literatur auf einem Festival präsentiert werden kann.
