Handlung

James Ubriacco und Mollie heiraten. Sie bekommen eine Tochter, auf die Mikey eifersüchtig wird. Ihre Sprüche nerven Mikey immer wieder. Mollies Bruder wird arbeitslos, er zieht bei der Familie ein. In der Wohnung brennt es. James und Mollie streiten; Mikey bemüht sich, seine Eltern zu versöhnen.

Kritiken

Hal Hinson schrieb in der Washington Post vom 14. Dezember 1990, der erste Film der Reihe habe noch einen „gewissen Charme“ gehabt. Der zweite Teil „funktioniere nicht“. [1]

Das Lexikon des internationalen Films schrieb, der Film sei ein „Aufguss“ sowie eine „infantile "Zeitgeist"-Geschichte“, derer Grundidee sich „längst erschöpft“ habe. Er verkomme zum „geistlosen Klamauk“. [2]

Auszeichnungen

Gilbert Gottfried und Roseanne Barr wurden im Jahr 1991 für die Goldene Himbeere nominiert.

Für die Synchronisation ins Deutsche der beiden Kinder waren Thomas Gottschalk und Nina Hagen zuständig.
