Lucio Dalla (2008)

Lucio Dalla (* 4. März 1943 in Bologna) ist ein Cantautore bzw. rockorientierter Musiker mit meist kritischen und poetischen Texten aus Italien.

Mit 14 Jahren begann er Klarinette zu lernen und startete seine Musikerkarriere bei der Reno Dixieland Band in Bologna. Sein Debüt als Sänger gab er 1964 mit einer Vorliebe für den Bereich der Soulmusik.

Sein bekanntestes Lied Caruso (1986), eine Hommage an den Opernsänger Enrico Caruso, wurde von zahlreichen Sängern gecovert. Die Versionen von Luciano Pavarotti und Andrea Bocelli verkauften sich weltweit viele Millionen mal.

Mit dem Stück Attenti al Lupo auf Cambio (1990) gelingt ihm ein großer Erfolg: es verkauft sich in Italien 1.400.000 mal und findet auch in Deutschland Gehör.

Seine 2007er Italien-Tour (Abschluss Ende Januar 2008) mit dem Namen "Il Contrario di Me" hat ihn durch Städte wie Rom, Mailand, Neapel, Florenz, Livorno, Genua geführt und natürlich auch in seine Heimatstadt Bologna. Seine Tour "Il Contrario di Me", zu der es auch eine CD mit gleichem Namen gibt, beendet er in Catania.

Seit 2010 gibt es, nach über 30 Jahren, wieder gemeinsame Konzerte mit Francesco De Gregori.
