MA-ERR

Die Liste der ISO 3166-2-Codes für Marokko enthält die Codes für die 16 Regionen und ihre 51 Provinzen.

Die Codes bestehen aus zwei Teilen, die durch einen Bindestrich voneinander getrennt sind. Der erste Teil gibt den Landescode gemäß ISO 3166-1 (für Marokko MA), der zweite den Code für die Region (bestehend aus zwei Ziffern) oder die Provinz (drei Buchstaben) wieder.
Der aktuelle Landescode wurde im sechsten Newsletter vom 8. März 2004 (pdf) zuletzt aktualisiert.[1]


Die Codes wurden zweimal aktualisiert, im zweiten Newsletter (ISO 3166-2:2002-05-21), als die zusätzliche Einteilung in Regionen eingeführt wurde, und im sechsten Newsletter (ISO 3166-2:2004-03-08), um die Schreibweise von Laayoune in Laâyoune zu ändern.
