BRE Bank ist ein börsennotiertes Unternehmen aus Polen mit Sitz in Warschau. Das Unternehmen ist im Finanzindex WIG20 der Warschauer Börse gelistet. Per Ende 2006 wies die Bank eine Bilanzsumme von 36,862 Milliarden Złoty (9,735 Mrd. €) aus, der Gewinn betrug 324 Millionen Złoty (85,569 Mio. €). Die Gesellschaft hat ein gezeichnetes Aktienkapital von 118.064.140 Złoty (insgesamt 29.516.035 Aktien zu je 4 Złoty). Rund 70 Prozent der Anteile sind im Besitz der Commerzbank Auslandsbanken Holding AG, der Rest ist im Streubesitz. [1]

Eine Tochtergesellschaft der BRE Bank ist die mBank. Sie besitzt keine Filialen, nur Finanzcentren und mKIOSKS, wo man alle Formalitäten, z. B. mit einem Kredit verbunden, erledigen kann. Das Geldkapital kann man durch einen Geldautomaten oder andere finanzielle Institutionen ein- und auszahlen. Die Bankkunden verwalten ihr Geld durch Internetservice, Telefon, WAP und SMS.
