Masters of Rock ist ein tschechisches Metal-Festival. Es findet jährlich in Vizovice etwa 60 km von Brünn nahe der slowakischen und österreichischen Grenze entfernt.
Das erste Masters of Rock fand mit rund 15.000 Besuchern im Jahr 2003 statt.[1] Bis 2006 wuchs das Festival auf eine Größe von 50.000 Besuchern.[2]
Auf dem Masters of Rock spielen jedes Jahr rund 40 Bands. Das Festivalgelände umfasst eine Bühne mit einer Zuschauerfläche für 10.000 Personen. Ein Großteil der Einrichtungen wie Restaurants, Toiletten, Piercingstudios und Videowände sind zum Schutz vor Regen überdacht.
Seit 2005 gibt es jeweils im Dezember noch einen zusätzlichen Tag, an dem weitere Bands auftreten.
