The Mighty Boosh ist eine britische Comedy-Serie über zwei Freunde, die zahlreiche psychedelische Abenteuer erleben. Sie begann als kleines, improvisiertes Theaterspiel und wurde dann als Livehörspiel im britischen Rundfunk ausgestrahlt. Motiviert durch den Erfolg wurde dann eine TV-Serie realisiert, die in UK mittlerweile Kultstatus besitzt. Die bisherigen drei Staffeln wurden auf dem britischen Sender BBC Three ausgestrahlt.

Ins Leben gerufen wurde The Mighty Boosh von den Comedians Julian Barratt und Noel Fielding, die in der Serie die beiden Hauptrollen Howard Moon und Vince Noir spielen. Die erste Staffel spielt im fiktiven Zoo „Zooniverse“, die zweite Staffel beginnt in der WG der Hauptfiguren in Dalston. In dieser Zeit suchen sie ihr Glück als Musiker - wechselnd beeinflusst durch verschiedene populäre Subkulturen der modernen Musikgeschichte. In der dritten Staffel sind die beiden Angestellte der skurrilen Boutique Nabootique.

Eine vierte Staffel ist bisher nicht in Planung. In Deutschland ist noch keine Ausstrahlung in Aussicht.
