Der Sharp PC-1500 war ein Taschencomputer (englisch Pocket Computer) der 1982 mit einer 8-Bit-CPU (ein Derivat der Zilog Z80 in CMOS-Technologie) und 8 KB eingebautem Arbeitsspeicher auf den Markt kam. Die Programmiersprache war BASIC, außerdem besaß er zahlreiche eingebaute wissenschaftliche Funktionen.

Nachdem das Betriebssystem entschlüsselt war, wurde auch ein Assembler zum Kauf angeboten. Im weiterer Folge entwickelten sie auch einen C-Compiler. Es waren auch einige Zusatzgeräte erhältlich, beispielsweise das Speichererweiterungsmodul CE-155 mit 8 KB oder CE-161 mit 16kByte.

Der ursprüngliche Hersteller war Sharp, in den USA wurde der PC-1500 aber unter dem Namen Tandy Pocket Computer (TRS-80 PC-2) von der Radio-Shack-Gruppe vermarktet. Das Nachfolgemodell war der PC-1500A, dieser war billiger und verfügte über mehr Speicher.
