Der Economist ist die einzige wirtschaftlich-orientierte Wochenzeitung in Namibia. Sie wird seit 1991 verlegt und erreicht eine wöchentliche Auflage von etwa 7000 Exemplaren. Sie wird landesweit vertrieben. Inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt liegt auf aktuellen, lokalen Wirtschaftsthemen.
