Der Nations Cup 2001 war ein Snookerturnier das vom 13. bis 21. Januar 2001 in Newcastle upon Tyne ausgetragen wurde. Es war ein Einladungsturnier im Rahmen der Main Tour der Snooker-Saison 2000/01.

Es handelt sich um ein Nationenturnier, bei dem jedes teilnehmende Land von drei Spielern repräsentiert wurde. Die Frames wurden mit wechselnder Besetzung und zum Teil auch als Doppel gespielt.

Der Nations Cup wurde 1999 erstmals unter diesem Namen ausgetragen; ähnliche Turniere namens World Cup oder World Team Cup gehen jedoch bis zum Jahr 1979 zurück. Bis zur Neuauflage als World Cup 2011 wurde das Turnier in der Folge nicht mehr ausgetragen.
