Das Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) ist eine weltweit tätige medizinische Forschungseinrichtung, welche sowohl Grundlagen- als auch klinische Krebsforschung betreibt.
Gegründet wurde das LICR im Jahr 1971 vom amerikanischen Reeder und Philanthrop Daniel K. Ludwig, welcher einen bedeutenden Teil seines Milliardenvermögens in dieses Institut investierte.
Mit ungefähr 900 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern in sieben Ländern ist das LICR das international größte akademische Institut, das sich der Krebsforschung widmet. Es ist an den folgenden Standorten (und Forschungs-Schwerpunkten) vertreten:
