Der Kibbuz Ma'agan Micha'el (hebr. מעגן מיכאל) befindet sich am südlichen Ende der Karmelküste, südwestlich der israelischen Stadt Zichron Ja'akow am Mittelmeer.

An der Stelle der heutigen Siedlung, die 1949 gegründet wurde, befanden sich bis in die 1930er Jahre Sümpfe, die von jüdischen Pionieren trockengelegt wurden. In diesen Sümpfen lebten bis um 1900 Krokodile; südlich des Kibbuz wurde beim Nahal HaTaninim („Krokodilbach“) das letzte Krokodil in der Gegend des heutigen Israel erlegt. Reste der Sümpfe, v.a. im Mündungsbereich des Nahal HaTaninim, sind heute ein Naturschutzgebiet.

Da Ma'agan Micha'el im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Kibbuzim wirtschaftlich relativ erfolgreich ist, ist er nicht durch Abwanderung seiner Bewohner bedroht. Unter den in Ma'agan Micha'el lebenden Menschen sind viele junge Leute; jedes Jahr werden etwa 20 Kinder geboren. Ma'agan Micha'el hatte nach Zahlen des Israelischen Zentralbüros für Statistik Ende des Jahres 2007 1400 Einwohner.
