Der National Trust for Scotland (NTS) ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die über 100 Liegenschaften und Stätten, darunter Schlösser und geschichtsträchtige Schlachtfelder in Schottland betreut. Sie ist das Gegenstück zum National Trust in England, Wales und Nordirland. Der NTS wurde im Jahr 1931 gegründet und hatte im Jahre 2004 500 Angestellte, 266.000 eingetragene Mitglieder und etwa 1,7 Millionen Besucher. Die Organisation besitzt 760 km² Land. Die meisten Gebäude, die die NTS betreut, sind nur von Ostern bis Mitte Oktober zu besichtigen.
Die Mitgliedschaft in der NTS ermöglicht den freien Eintritt zu allen Gebäuden. Daneben kann man auch ohne Mitgliedschaft Eintrittskarten erwerben.
