Aroha Island ist eine Insel in der Region Northland auf der Nordinsel Neuseelands. Sie ist Eigentum des Queen Elizabeth II National Trust und wird von diesem verwaltet. Sie liegt in der Bay of Islands, 12 km nordöstlich von Kerikeri. Sie kann vom Festland über einen Damm mit dem Auto erreicht werden.

Bekannt ist sie als wichtiger Lebensraum der nördlichen Unterart des Streifenkiwi (Apteryx australis mantelli).

Auf der Insel befindet sich ein Informations- und Tourismuszentrum. Übernachtungen sind auf einem Campingplatz und wenigen festen Unterkünften möglich. Durch das Ökologische Zentrum werden geführte Nachtwanderungen zur Beobachtung der Kiwis angeboten. [1]
