Newton Mearns (schottisch-gälisch: Baile Ùr na Maoirne) ist eine kleine Stadt etwa 11 km südwestlich von Glasgow. Sie hat etwa 22.600 Einwohner und liegt 410 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Die Stadt ist Teil der Greater Glasgow Metropolitan Settlement Area in East Renfrewshire.

Berühmtester Sohn der Stadt ist Donald McKinlay.
