Operation Last Chance

Die Operation Last Chance ist eine internationale Kampagne, um gesuchte NS-Kriegsverbrecher der Justiz zuzuführen.

Organisation

Träger des Projekts sind das Simon Wiesenthal Center und die Targum Shlishi Foundation. Geleitet werden die Aktivitäten von Efraim Zuroff.

Für Hinweise, die zur Verurteilung einer der gesuchten Personen führt, sind jeweils € 10.000 ausgesetzt.

Derzeit ist die Initiative in 9 Ländern aktiv:

  • seit 2002: Litauen, Estland und Lettland
  • seit 2003: Polen, Rumänien und Österreich
  • seit 2004: Kroatien und Ungarn
  • seit 2005: Deutschland
