Penuti ist eine Sprachfamilie in Amerika. Sie kommt hauptsächlich im Westen der USA vor. Sie gehört zu den indigenen amerikanischen Sprachen.
Der ISO-Code ist 639-2 nai.
Im engeren Sinne werden als Penuti-Sprachen verschiedene Sprachen Kaliforniens (Miwok, Wintu, Yokuts, Maidu) zusammengefasst. Im weiteren Sinne rechnet man dieser Sprachfamilie auch die Sprachen aus Oregon und Bundesstaat Washington in USA (Cayuse, Coos, Takelma, Klamath, Sahaptin, Yakima, Nez Perce) sowie Chinook hinzu
